Rachel Zoe made her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debut during the season 15 premiere and proved she can still hold her own on Bravo.
The episode, which aired on Thursday, December 4, featured Rachel, 54, being introduced into the group at Kyle Richards’ Summer Solstice party. While she already knew some of the women, Rachel quickly formed a friendship with Dorit Kemsley as they bonded over their respective divorces.
During the event, Kathy Hilton asked Dorit if she’s bothered by PK being photographed with other women following their separation. (Dorit and PK, 58, separated in May 2024. She officially filed for divorce in April, the same day photos of him kissing another woman went public.)
Dorit said she thinks PK saw how Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, was acting after their separation and followed suit. (Mauricio has been spotted with several women publicly following his July 2023 separation from Kyle.)
“Kyle, I saw Mau in Aspen,” Rachel said in front of all the women. “Someone tried to set me up with him. Three people in one night at one event.”
She continued, “I was like, ‘That’s Kyle’s ex-husband, are you mental?’ Like, no.”
There appeared to be an awkward silence around the table as Rachel continued.
“It’s like when someone’s famous and another person’s famous, you guys know each other,” she added.
Elsewhere during the episode, Rachel discussed her own divorce from Rodger Berman.
“I’m trying to look at him like a friend, and I’m not there yet,” Rachel told Kathy “At the end of the day, I think we’ve outgrown each other. I think? Listen, he’s always been Grateful Dead and I’ve always been St. Barts. We became very different people.”
Rachel and Rodger separated in September 2024 after 26 years together. She filed for divorce in July. (The couple share two sons, Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11.)
During a separate scene, filmed in her home, Rachel offered more insight into what went wrong between her and Rodger.

“There’s a lot of reasons that our relationship was strained. In hindsight, if I had to say a great regret,” she said. “My greatest regret would probably be working together.”
Rachel and Rodger’s marriage and business relationship were showcased on Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project, which ran from 2008 to 2013. (Rodger has since moved on with stylist Bree Jacoby.)
“Lines got crossed. The person that I was with my whole adult life, in many ways, was unrecognizable,” she continued, holding back tears. “Ultimately, that person didn’t feel right around me or around my kids.”
She said that the kids have a “tricky” relationship with Rodger.
“I think that they wonder why he sometimes does or says things that he says. Why he acts the way he does,” Rachel explained. “Why there is time spent with his girlfriend versus his kids.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on Bravo Thursday, December 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
