Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are officially parents of three, welcoming their third baby together.
“Rocki Irish Mayers 🎀,” Rihanna, 37, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 24, revealing that the pair welcomed a baby girl who was born on September 13.
Rihanna confirmed at the Met Gala in May that she and Rocky, 36, were expecting again. They are already parents of sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2.
Rihanna and Rocky hadn’t confirmed baby Rocki’s sex ahead of her arrival, though they were hopeful to finally welcome a daughter.
“I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” Rocky told Elle in a profile published earlier this week. “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.”
He added, “I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
Rihanna and the “Fashion Killa” rapper have been together since 2019 and have long discussed the next steps.
“They’ve talked about getting married down the line,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in 2023. “[They] both think of each other as the one they’re going to spend the rest of their life with.”
Elsewhere in his Elle profile, Rocky coyly addressed speculation that the couple secretly tied the knot.

“How you know I’m not already a husband?” he joked. “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”
Rocky, however, did let fans into their dynamics as a family ahead of his baby girl’s birth.
“We don’t talk too much about work, because we deal with that all day, every day,” he told the magazine. “When you come home, it’s about family. It’s about your relationship. It’s about your household. It ain’t about all that other s***.”
Rihanna has also been outspoken about how her life has changed since becoming a parent.
“It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever,” she told British Vogue in 2023. “You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because … it doesn’t matter.”
