Described as a “luxury lifestyle” property, the all-suite Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel has launched in Mumbai close to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Aimed at guests staying for work, stopovers or extended visits in Mumbai, Roswyn’s accommodation has been designed as full living spaces, rather than traditional hotel rooms.

The hotel’s 109 suites start from 80 square metres and each includes a study, lounge, kitchenette and home bar, and bedroom. The interiors were created by Paris-based designer Daphné Desjeux, who drew on Mumbai’s urban character rather than stereotypical luxury motifs.

Design details include embroidered artwork, ceramic pieces referencing Bombay and photography inspired by Mumbai’s coastline, creating a residential feel throughout the property.

“Lifestyle hospitality today is about far more than design-led hotels, it’s about creating culturally relevant destinations that become part of a city’s everyday rhythm,” said Louis Abboud, Chief Growth Officer of Ennismore.

“India is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets globally and an important focus for Ennismore’s growth. Roswyn, under Morgans Originals, marks our first hotel in the country, and an important step as we look to bring several more distinctive projects to the market in the years ahead.”

Italian dining and a Japanese-style listening bar

Food and drink are central to the hotel’s offering, with multiple venues designed to attract both travellers and local residents.

Fi’lia, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, focuses on generational cooking traditions, serving Neapolitan-style pizzas, handmade pasta and seasonal dishes inspired by family recipes.

Meanwhile, Black Lacquer takes inspiration from Japanese listening bars, combining vinyl-led music programming with sake, shochu, highballs and a curated cocktail menu. The venue shifts from a quieter lounge atmosphere earlier in the evening to a more energetic nightlife setting later on.

Roswyn also includes The Third Room, a social workspace and meeting hub aimed at travellers, entrepreneurs and local professionals.

Wellness, fitness and family facilities

The hotel’s wider facilities reflect growing demand for wellness-focused hospitality experiences.

Guests have access to a Technogym-powered fitness centre, an infinity pool and Blu Xone, described by the hotel as a longevity-led wellness concept and the first facility of its kind in India.

For families, there is also a dedicated children’s area called Tiny Town.
