Scott Wolf‘s estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, has been admitted to a local hospital after being detained.

“Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help,” read a statement to People on Friday, June 13, from local law enforcement. “Upon speaking with the female, our Deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our Deputies.”

The statement concluded: “For that reason, our Deputies transported the female to a local hospital.”

The outlet confirmed that Kelley, 48, was the female taken to a Utah hospital. She has been staying at the Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah, since Wednesday.

Kelley took to Instagram on Friday, June 13, to share an audio clip of her argument with authorities. She appeared to get handcuffed after allegedly making “some comments” about her dad and other individuals that were considered “concerning.”

“I didn’t mean to,” Kelley said. “I think Scott Wolf is abusing me, and now you are abusing me more.”

Kelley turned on her camera, which showed her with her hands behind her back. While Scott, 57, has yet to publicly address the footage, Kelley claimed she had been “taken against [her] will” in another post.

“This is horrible,” she captioned a photo of a police holding room. “Please check in on my kids. Also … I am happy! Happier than I have ever been. I have NO idea why or how this is happening in AMERICA.”

Kelley noted that she was “compliant, calm and respectful” while in police custody, adding, “Hopefully, this is all sorted very quickly. In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I’ve ever experienced.”

The concerning posts came after Scott filed for divorce in Utah on Monday, June 9.

“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” the actor said in a statement on Wednesday, June 11. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”

Scott and Kelley, who got married in 2004, share three children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11. Kelley released her own statement about the former couple’s decision to part ways.

“It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,” she wrote on Tuesday, June 10. “This has been a long, quiet journey for me — rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion.”

Before filing for divorce, Scott hinted that his family had weathered some personal issues.

“The last few years have presented life in a way that we hadn’t experienced before,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “These are not life and death issues, but reframing issues, things that have, kind of, challenges, and watching our family go through things that have presented challenges … to find our way through in ways that have changed the way I see happiness.”

Scott continued, “My family’s been through some stuff over the past few years. This period of time has been weird for a lot of people. And we sort of got blown in the wind a little bit, moved around a bunch, and [I] watched my children deal with all of that.”
