Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s fiancée, Katie Hoofnagle, is giving fans a look at what the Super Bowl celebration was like from the field at Levi’s Stadium.
Two days after the Seahawks beat the New England Patriots, 29-13, to win their second championship in franchise history, Hoofnagle took to Instagram to express her pride and share photos and video from the field during the celebration.
“And despite everything, you remained kind,” she wrote in the caption to an Instagram carousel of Darnold, 28, celebrating. “In moments where it would’ve been so easy to make excuses or put the blame on somebody else, you never wavered. Your patience, respect, discipline, and humility have continuously shone through, even on the hardest days of the journey.”
She continued, “It’s an honor and a privilege to share you with the world on Sundays, and I’m so grateful that you finally got your flowers on the biggest stage. As long as I’m alive, you’ll always have someone who is proud of you in everything that you do.”
In her Story, Hoofnagle gave fans a closer look at her gameday outfit. She rocked a black jacket and white top with jeans that included Darnold’s No. 14 jersey number and the word “Seattle” stitched on.

There’s been a lot of excitement for the lovebirds as of late, considering Darnold popped the question to his girlfriend on the beach in Dana Point, California, in July 2025. The QB and Hoofnagle have been dating since 2023.
Last June, Hoofnagle — who played club soccer at the University of South Carolina — also gushed over her beau in a sentimental message shared on his birthday.
“Amidst the chaos of our everyday lives, every day spent with you is filled with an abundance of peace, laughter, presence, joy, and love. Here’s to another trip around the sun sharing good meals, good music, and good company. Happy 28th birthday to my better half, I love you more 🤍,” Hoofnagle captioned a series of photos of the pair via Instagram at the time.

Darnold echoed those sentiments about his bride-to-be in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in March 2025, revealing she helped keep him level-headed.
“The support [from] my girlfriend is unbelievable,” Darnold told Us at the RX3 2025 Charity Flag Football Tournament at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. “You know, the fact that she just understands it. She’s a former athlete herself, and just gets kind of the grind of everything. When I just want to chill, she’s very up for that, especially during the season.”
“She’s great,” he sweetly added. “She’s always been my biggest supporter. And I love her, and I thank her for that all the time.”
Darnold also talked about the transitory nature of playing in the league. “We have lives, we have families, we have everything just like everyone else,” Darnold told Us. “Whenever we are on a one-year deal, like, yeah, it’s great. I understand playing in the NFL is awesome and I love every second of it. But when you have those one-year deals, which a lot of guys in the NFL are on, you’re always in the back of your head thinking, ‘OK, where am I gonna play next?’”
