Stassi Schroeder‘s fight with husband Beau Clark over his close relationship with his sister didn’t just stay in Italy.

During the Monday, April 28, episode of the “Taste of Taylor” podcast, Schroeder’s friend Taylor Strecker discussed the chaotic showdown, which was filmed for season 2 of Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa.

“It was a blip on the radar. That’s how I saw it,” Strecker told Schroeder, 36, about the onscreen argument, to which the former Vanderpump Rules star replied, “It doesn’t feel like a blip when it’s on national TV. And when you guys forced me to go to therapy afterwards.”

Schroeder asked why everyone in her life wanted to “push therapy” on her. While the reality star didn’t offer too many details on the aftermath of her fight with Clark, 45, she confirmed she’s “in it now” when it comes to investing in therapy for herself.

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are one of several Vanderpump Rules couples who’ve walked down the aisle … but their nuptials didn’t play out on the Bravo series. Before introducing fans to Beau on season 7 of the Bravo series, Stassi documented messy relationships with Jax Taylor, Frank Herlihy and Patrick Meagher on the show. […]

Vanderpump Villa viewers were in for a surprise when an episode based around Schroeder and Clark followed them fighting about his sister the entire time.

“Beau has a habit of putting his sister Georgia’s needs before anyone else — including his wife. Beau met his sister later in life so maybe this is just all him making up for lost time?” Schroeder said in a confessional when the season premiered on Thursday, April 24. “I try to pretend like it isn’t weird but it is f***ing weird.”

While discussing why Clark had a tattoo of his sister’s name and not Schroeder’s, the tension only got worse.

“[Your ex] Jax [Taylor] has yours. I’d rather not copy your ex-boyfriend’s [tattoo],” Beau said in reference to Taylor’s infamous ink dedicated to Schroeder, whom he dated on and off in 2013. “When you get someone’s name — who you are in a relationship with — tattooed, it is notorious for bad omens.”

Schroeder struggled to understand her husband’s point of view.

“It is time you get my signature on your body. It hurts my feelings,” Schroeder, who shares daughter Hartford, 4, and son Messer, 19 months, with Beau, noted. “You can’t have your sister on your arm and not your wife and the mother of your children. That is f***ing weird.”

She continued: “It is a bad omen when you are in the beginning of a relationship or a toxic relationship. But when you are married to someone, it makes me feel really embarrassed. I am feeling really angry.”

While the pair figured out their issues on screen, Schroeder clarified on Monday that the concern was never about Clark’s relationship with his sister.

“That’s never been a thought in my brain. I love to joke about Georgia and Beau’s closeness, but it’s an Italian thing. Like, all the Italian people do it,” she added. “They link arms and hold hands with their brothers and sisters — and it’s f***ing weird to me.”

Schroeder acknowledged it was “their culture,” adding, “I’m allowed to be like, ‘Hey, this is wacky. This is kind of f***ing wacky.’ I’m not mad about that but I need to call it out.”

Vanderpump Villa is currently streaming on Hulu.
