Tayvis fever made its way to the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were nominated together.

While not in attendance for the event, the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35, were a hot topic during the Monday, March 17, awards show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Swift and Kelce earned a joint nomination for Favorite Surprise Guest, which stemmed from his cameo during one of her June 2024 Eras Tour concerts in London.

Swift also racked up nods in eight additional categories, including Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, Favorite Tour Tradition for the “22” hat and surprise songs, Favorite Tour Style and Favorite On Screen for her Eras Tour film.

The Eras Tour holds special significance for Swift and Kelce since it helped to launch their relationship. He famously tried to meet her at one of her July 2023 concerts in Kansas City, Missouri. After he failed to do so, Kelce shared the story publicly, leading Swift to reach out to him.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are all anyone can talk about. Swift and Kelce were first linked in July 2023 when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared he attempted to ask Swift out after attending her Eras Tour. “I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I […]

In June 2024, the couple shared a full circle moment when Kelce joined Swift on stage for her “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” wardrobe change. The following month, Kelce revealed that the cameo was his idea.

“I initially mentioned to Tay, I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 [section]?’ She started laughing, she was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’ I was like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me?’” Travis recalled on his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast in July 2024. “I’ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here. And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in. There was no, like, bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was, like, the safest option.”

Travis gushed that “you can do no wrong when Taylor’s on stage” because “she’s the best to do it.”

More recently, the pair have been keeping a low profile since the Eras Tour ended in December 2024 and Travis’ NFL season concluded in February. As the two focus on each other amid their rare downtime, a source exclusively told Us Weekly last month, “Taylor and Travis work so well [together]. They’re still madly in love, and their relationship just keeps getting better and better.”
