Home, squeezed home.

A listing for a seriously small apartment in Manchester, UK has left potential renters horrified.

An apartment listed for £750 per month — about $1,000 USD — is so tiny that the tenant would be able to cook a full meal “while sitting in bed.”

Rightmove, a UK property search platform, advertised the space as a “beautifully furnished single studio flat” in Salford, Greater Manchester, that would be the “perfect property for a professional individual.”

The listing notes the furnished property is complete with a “modern” bathroom that consists of a WC, basin and shower cubicle, as well as a kitchen equipped with a “range” of appliances.

The description claims the apartment has an “open plan living space” with “stylish furnishings, and all the necessary conveniences for modern living” — but those who have seen the listing have expressed concern over the close proximity of the bed to the kitchen appliances.

In the photos, the bed is right next to what is apparently the kitchen, and it appears the oven would open directly onto the bed.

Some people online joked that this would be the perfect space for breakfast in bed — and simultaneously were horrified by the price.

“I thought it must be London at first. Brings a whole new meaning to ‘Breakfast in bed,’” one wrote.

“My horse has a bigger stable than this; the rent is utter lunacy,” another quipped.

“A lovely Peaceful night’s sleep being serenaded by the Arctic wind impressions by the fridge/freezer,” someone said, pointing out that the noise from the fridge freezer might keep someone up at night.

“Love the description, as you enter the flat, you will discover an open plan living space. What you mean is as you open your door, you are greeted by a 6ft x 6ft room where you can do the washing, cooking and cleaning up all from the comfort of your bed,” another wrote.

“And the best part is there’s so little floor space you’ll only need a dust buster to hoover the carpet.”

Spending big bucks on a tiny apartment is something that New Yorkers know all too well. Many people living in the city are forced into minimalist lifestyles due to their micro-apartments.

A personal trainer named Nikki once shared that her closet-sized space measures in at a tiny 80 square feet — and she pays $1,750 a month.

Two influencers revealed that their “shoebox” New York City apartment is so tiny, they are forced to live out of their suitcases because there isn’t room for closets.

A graduate student moved into a 8 ft. x 9 ft. micro-apartment, also known as a goshiwon, which consists of a single bed, a desk and chair, shelving, a small fridge, and a built-in wet room/toilet.
