You can get food fast or you can get food right — but where can you get both?

As it turns out, some fast-food restaurants tend to be more accurate than others.

According to Intouch Insight, a company that has been tracking the speed and accuracy of fast-food drive thrus for 25 years, Chick-fil-A is currently the most accurate in the market, the Washington Post reported.

Chick-fil-A had an average accuracy rate of 92% over the past six years, the data showed.

Burger King and McDonald’s tied for second place with an accuracy rate of 88%, while Arby’s took the fourth place spot.

On the other end, KFC came in last with the lowest six-year average at 81%. However, the chicken chain was the most improved since 2024, besting Taco Bell, Wendy’s and Dunkin’.

Taco Bell, Wendy’s and Dunkin’ all came in higher than KFC in the six-year average, but they still are the bottom four fast-food chains for accuracy.

And while Chick-fil-A might be the one to most likely get your order right, it’s going to take longer for you to get said order. The chain had the longest average number of cars — five — in a drive-thru line before being able to place your order.

Those in a Chick-fil-A drive thru can expect to wait eight minutes for their order.

Meanwhile, KFC had an average of slightly more than one car in the drive-thru before placing an order. Taco Bell was the fastest chain, getting customers in and out in 4.3 minutes.

In a previous study conducted by CouponBirds, Chick-fil-A was deemed “the best super-chain” — with a rating of 3.95 out of 5.

Given the accuracy rate, Chick-fil-A taking the number one spot for best fast-food chain in America might not be surprising, though it is perhaps impressive given that its 3,059 outlets are closed on Sundays and serve fish instead of chicken on Lent.
