Travis Scott has a new perspective on life after becoming a father.
Scott, 34, opened up about being the dad of daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner, during a cover interview with Rolling Stone published Wednesday, January 21. One thing that he’s learned since becoming a dad is that “you can’t crash out.”
“You can’t do a lot of crazy s*** like you would,” he said, noting that the hardest part about touring is having to be away from his little ones. “Man, my kids are just like me when it comes to trying to get off ideas,” the rapper added.
He went on to share that Aire, who turns 4 on February 2, is just as innovative as he is. “I took him to the Disney Imagineering spot, and his mind was just going off when he seen the robots and all the new tech and how it’s built.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Scott opened up about AI and whether he lets his kids play around with it.
“My kids don’t have AI,” he explained. “Having AI right now will compress their ability for their brain to maximize. So they got to learn the physical and the actual way of learning so then they know how to actually use AI to their best ability, because if it’s doing everything for you, how do you even know what’s right or wrong?”
He also shared his thoughts on AI in general, saying, “In specific ways, if used right, it could be helpful. I think it’s all about how it’s used.”
Scott continued, “You got to challenge the designers and the creatives of the world. Instead of running from something, you got to become a leader in setting a platform and design landscape for it before it just gets too out of control.”
Jenner, 28, and Scott first started seeing each other in 2017. Later that year, news broke that Jenner was pregnant with their first baby. In 2018, they welcomed Stormi.
Later that year, Jenner supported Scott by making an appearance in his “Stop Trying to Be God” music video. She dressed as the Virgin Mary in a sequined dress and held a baby lamb.
In October 2019, the duo decided to take a break from their relationship and later got back together. In 2021, Jenner announced she was pregnant with their second baby, son Aire, who arrived in 2022. The following year, Jenner and Scott split again.
Jenner has since found love with Timothée Chalamet, whom she started dating in 2023. Scott, for his part, is single.
Jenner and Chalamet, 30, recently had a date night at the 2025 Golden Globes. For the event, Jenner stunned in a silver dress complete with a strappy bedazzled neckline. Chalamet, meanwhile, looked sharp in a black jacket and shirt as well as a silver necklace. The pair cuddled up during the ceremony and were even seen sharing a kiss.
