Victoria Beckham has long been a master of reinvention and her latest revelation proves it.

The former pop star-turned-fashion icon, 51, underwent a boob job in the ‘90s before ultimately having them removed, sharing her reasons why she got rid of the implants in a new interview released on Friday, October 10.

On the heels of her self-titled Netflix docuseries, Beckham told The Sun that designer Roland Mouret was behind her decision to embrace a more natural look. (She reportedly increased her breast size from a 34A to a 34D in 1999.)

“I don’t know where those boobs went, but they went. It was definitely working with Roland that did it. He’s so great and I wouldn’t have a career if it wasn’t for him,” she shared in hindsight.

It’s no secret that many of Hollywood’s A-listers have breast implants. But what you may not know is that as popular as the cosmetic enhancement is, celebs also aren’t afraid to say goodbye to them for good. Dr. John Paul Tutela, a trusted NY and NJ board-certified plastic surgeon tells Us Weekly that the two […]

“It came from a need to be taken more seriously and me not knowing who I was,” she candidly admitted, referring to launching her career in the fashion world. “And so I think it was Roland that encouraged me to just be me — not feel I had to be that person. To just tone it down.”

Reflecting on her early days alongside husband David Beckham, Victoria declared, “I was a WAG. And a proud one.” (David, 50, and Victoria crossed paths at a soccer match in 1997 and tied the knot two years later.)

“I think that I’ve spent such a long time after the Spice Girls searching for my purpose and I didn’t know what it was, so I suppose that’s why I dressed in that way,” she said of her more daring fashion choices. “There were a lot of hair extensions, tight tops and fake tan, although I still do fake tan.”

Victoria spoke to the outlet from her flagship Mayfair store, revealing there was another silver lining that came along with embracing her beauty. “I think the nice thing about it is, then, I could just show myself through my collections,” she pointed out.

The “Say You’ll Be There” hitmaker also addressed her past bold style choices in the docuseries, noting they were motivated by a need for attention amid the World Cup in Baden-Baden in 2006.

Victoria Beckham still knows how to spice up her style, particularly on Valentine’s Day. On Thursday, February 13, Victoria, 50, posted an Instagram video, where she explained she was “just trying to figure out what to wear” for V-Day, while modeling option number one: an all-black look that flashed some skin while leaving just enough […]

“Look, it was fun,” Victoria admitted with a laugh. “I had big boobs. I had big hair. Us ladies were shopping and we were owning it. I remember seeing one of these wives that had bought so many designer clothes and had so many bags that she couldn’t get in the revolving doors at the Baden-Baden hotel.”

Upon seeing the throwback photos now, “It was at a time when I didn’t feel creatively fulfilled, so it’s how I stayed in the conversation,” she said.

Victoria also recalled attending a Marc Jacobs show in 2007, following which she was asked to be in his campaign.

“It was very much poking fun at me, and that’s when I realized I was a laughing stock,” she said of the public reaction to her photos. “No one took me seriously in this industry. I knew I wanted to be a designer. I knew I had a point of view. But I also knew that I needed someone to believe in me.”
