After a gruelling final against Switzerland’s Andrea Kümin and Sascha Lehmann, the Swiss champions dominated the event with an impressive performance on complex 180-metre routes, with sections up to level 8b.

Despite unseasonably high temperatures and changes of grip on the final stage, Pilz and Schubert set a record, winning the final with a time of 48:46 minutes.

The Red Bull Dual Ascent is a climbing competition that each year brings together mixed teams of international climbers on two parallel 180-metre routes. Competitors must reach the top of the dam as quickly as possible, climbing in ‘red point’ mode, where every mistake requires the section to be restarted, with the winners determined by total time and number of penalties.
