Before Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, there was The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon — but which stars have crossed over from one spinoff to another?
The Big Bang Theory, which aired from 2007 to 2019, starred Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch as a group of friends made up of scientists and their significant others.
During its run, the CBS comedy won 10 Emmy Awards and spawned the prequel series, Young Sheldon. The follow-up introduced Us to Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) brother Georgie (Montana Jordan), whose love story with Mandy (Emily Osment) set the scene for CBS’ Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.

“If Meemaw and Audrey could get into it, that would make me really happy because I love Annie Potts more than almost anyone on this planet,” she shared in October 2024. “It would be really fun to continue to play with her. And we are promised their presence since it’s a small town, so you can’t escape all those other inhabitants.”

Montana Jordan
Jordan’s first TV role was playing Georgie on Young Sheldon for seven seasons. From there, Georgie became the focus of his own spinoff alongside wife Mandy.
Emily Osment
Sheldon’s older brother grew up before viewers’ eyes and found love in a surprising place with Mandy on Young Sheldon. One surprise pregnancy and one wedding later, Georgie and Mandy moved over to their own show.
Rachel Bay Jones
Jones reprised her role as Mandy’s mother, Audrey, after originating the part on the final seasons of Young Sheldon.
Will Sasso
Before Mandy’s dad starred on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Sasso was introduced on season 6 of Young Sheldon.
Zoe Perry
Following her seven-year long stint as Georgie’s mother on Young Sheldon, Perry has often returned to Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage to help her son navigate the next chapter in his life.
Annie Potts
Potts played Georgie’s beloved grandmother on Young Sheldon — a role she reprised when he got his own spinoff.
Raegan Revord
While Sheldon (Iain Armitage) has yet to visit Georgie on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the eldest Cooper sibling has spent plenty of time with sister Missy (played by Revord).
Craig T. Nelson
Season 3 of Young Sheldon introduced Nelson as Missy’s baseball coach, Dale, but he quickly became a love interest for Meemaw. The fictional couple remained together and made joint appearances on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
Matt Hobby
Young Sheldon introduced Us to Hobby as Pastor Jeff before he popped up on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. In a February 2025 episode, Pastor Jeff came in to play mediator for Mary and Audrey when they started to compete for their granddaughter’s love.
Lance Barber
After playing the patriarch on Young Sheldon for seven seasons, Barber’s character, George Cooper Sr., died ahead of the season finale of a heart attack. Barber — who was previously a guest star on The Big Bang Theory — will return to Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage in a dream sequence to speak with his son.
