1.  She Has Millions of Social Media Followers

Those chronically online likely need no introduction to Rowe. She’s racked up more than three million followers on TikTok and an equally impressive one million Instagram followers, thanks to her hilarious videos.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in August 2023, Rowe explained that she started doing her own videos as a way to show off her skills while pursuing an acting career.

“I want to do something to make my insides match my outsides a little bit more, and I have to write them — I can’t just expect material to show up, and then I can put my fun take on it,” she told the outlet. “TikTok came around, and I was like, ‘I’m just going to use this as one big self-tape to show anybody who wants to watch that I can be funny.’”

2. She Once Worked as a Personal Chef for Celebrities

Rowe once cooked professionally for A-listers such as Stan Lee and various NFL players.

“I made little fliers and I ran all around the wealthiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles and stuffed them into mailboxes. They had some pictures of food and then a big headshot on the back that said, ‘Delaney Rowe, Private Chef.’ And it landed in the right people’s mailboxes,” Rowe explained to Delish in July 2024 of how she ended up cooking for the stars.

However, Rowe previously confessed she wasn’t exactly truthful when she went about nabbing her personal chef gigs.

“Now I’m far enough away from it to be, like, ‘Yeah, I never went to culinary school, I fully lied about that,’” she told Vanity Fair in August 2023.

3. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’ Inspired Her Acting Dream

Many actors can recall the moment they realized they wanted to pursue the Hollywood dream — and Rowe can remember the exact movie that made her want to become an actress.

She told Vanity Fair in 2023 that seeing Lindsay Lohan’s 2004 film Confession of a Teenage Drama Queen was the catalyst behind her wanting to get her big break in the movie world.

4. She’s Famous for Her ‘Cringe’ Characters

Rowe’s take on “cringe” movie stereotypes and characters have gone viral via social media over the years, and have garnered her millions of followers.

“I don’t view it as cringe per se, because I’m just trying to replicate a certain style that I’ve seen in entertainment — certain tropes. It’s me trying to hit the nail on the head that induces that cringe, you know what I mean?” she told The Cut in December 2023.

She added: “I love movies and television, and all of the characters and the tropes that I make fun of are things that I really love and grew up watching. People are like, Why is it so accurate? It’s because I’m not reinventing the wheel. I’m just doing things that I’ve seen.”

5. She Grew Up in Idaho

While Rowe now calls Los Angeles home, the social media star grew up in Idaho.

“Idaho is exactly what you would imagine — really outdoorsy. If you’re not outdoorsy, I’m not sure what you’re doing there. I’m not outdoorsy, of course, but my parents are… They’re the crunchy, skiing-in-the-winter and mountain-biking-in-the-summer kind of people,” she told Passerby Magazine in January 2024 of her upbringing.

Rowe continued: “I wasn’t super into that, but there’s an interesting little theater scene in Idaho that I was really involved with. It’s embarrassing, but I was a theater kid. I was also doing ballet at Ballet Idaho, and I was so disinterested in doing anything else.”
