Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham’s wedding drama led to an incredibly awkward brunch the next day.
“I was the DJ at the wedding. It wasn’t a one-day wedding, it was a three-day wedding,” DJ Fat Tony said on the Friday, January 23, broadcast of the U.K.’s This Morning. “I did the welcome party, then I did the wedding and then I did a brunch on the Sunday.”
According to Tony, the post-wedding brunch was “the most awkward part of it all.”
“Everything that had gone on the actual wedding night was discussed amongst all the guests the next morning,” the DJ, 60, claimed.
Brooklyn, 26, married Nicola, 30, after apparent family drama during the wedding planning phase.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” Brooklyn claimed in a social media statement shared Monday, January 19. “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”

Brooklyn also alleged that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, pressured him to sign “away the rights to [his] name” before the big day.
“[This] would have affected [him], [his] wife and [their] future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because when the terms of the deal would be initiated,” Brooklyn claimed. “My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since. During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.”
While the wedding went on as planned, more drama erupted when Brooklyn claimed his mom “hijacked” what should have been the newlyweds’ first dance.
“Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” Brooklyn wrote in his statement. “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. l’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Tony, however, downplayed Victoria’s seemingly inappropriate dance moves while speaking on This Morning.
“There was no slut-dropping, there was no black PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girl action,” he said. “It was the timing. So, basically Marc Anthony was performing on stage and he then called Brooklyn onto the stage [and] everyone’s expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance.”
Anthony, 57, then asked for “the most beautifulest woman in the room” to join Brooklyn on the stage for a Latin-style dance, gesturing to Victoria, 51, instead of Nicola.
“At that point, Brooklyn’s suddenly devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife,” Tony said on Friday. “Then, Nicola leaves the room, crying her eyes out. Brooklyn’s stuck there on stage and they do this dance. Marc Anthony is, like, ‘Go put your hands on your mother’s hips.’ … The whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room.”
While David, 50, and Victoria have not addressed any of Brooklyn’s accusations, their firstborn and Nicola have since stepped away from the family.
