Winona Ryder isn’t planning to get Botox — even if directors are recommending it to her.

Ryder, 52, opened up about people advising her to get Botox while chatting with Elle in a cover story published Wednesday, July 23. After sharing that female directors have urged the actress to try the facial injections, Ryder shared, “They’ll say, ‘Just relax your forehead. Relax,’” while she’s acting.

“I’m trying to be a great actor, and they’re saying that over and over,” Ryder said of her facial expressions. “It’s nice that people are talking about how it’s OK to age, but there’s still enormous pressure. Every role I get is for a mother, you know? My career has definitely shifted.”

Ryder previously opened up about not wanting to get plastic surgery in 2016, telling Net-a-Porter’s The Edit that she “loves” getting older.
