Pro wrestling icon Ric Flair had fans befuddled with an ominous, rambling message posted on social media.

“I Try To Be Nice To Everybody,” Flair, 76, posted via X on Wednesday, June 4. “God Only Knows That I’ve Spent More Money On Spilt Liquor In One Year Than People Have In A Lifetime. I Tried Being Nice, And This Is My Last Message To Everyone.”

Flair continued, “I’ve Got More Money Than I’ve Got Time. Go F Yourself Haters. No Comment Needed. Live With It! Actually Learn To Love It! Get Back To Me Again When You Make 3 Million Dollars A Year At The Age Of 76. That’s What FAMOUS Gets. And By The Way, I Don’t Recognize Anyone In This Conversation Who Is Famous.”

The posts came on the heels of Flair being called out by wrestling legend Dutch Mantell for comments Flair made about Hall of Fame broadcaster Jim Ross, who was diagnosed with colon cancer last month.

In a since-deleted social media post, Flair said Ross, 73, was “seeking attention” by announcing his cancer diagnosis. (After deleting the post, Flair insisted that it was “a joke.”)

“Why would he say that? Because he’s a dick,” Mantell, 75, said Wednesday on his “Story Time With Dutch Mantell” podcast. “No kidding. What difference does it make to Ric Flair? The man’s sick, and he was just telling people what’s going on with him.”

Mantell added, “He needs to shut up. He really does.”

Flair addressed Mantell directly via social media, saying, “You Have Always Been A Good Guy.”

“The Anger You Pour Out At Everybody Is Clearly Coming From The Pain You Feel,” Flair added via X on Wednesday. “Please Stay Strong!”

It has been a difficult last 12 months for Flair, the father of current WWE superstar Charlotte Flair

In October 2024, he mourned the loss of his stepson, Sebastian, who died by suicide.

“I know the pain of your loss will be with you the rest of your life,” Flair directed to Sebastian’s mother, Wendy Barlow. “I still every day of my life think about Reid as you will continue to think about Sebastian.”

Flair’s son, Reid, died of a drug overdose in 2013.

In September 2024, Ric and Barlow announced their split after six years of marriage.

“We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work,” Flair said in a statement at the time. “I wish her the best of luck with her projects and I know that she supports mine.”
