Zac Affleck was soaking up the sun and sharing some sweet moments with his kids just days before his estranged wife, Jen Affleck, filed for divorce.
“My favorite nights,” Zac, 30, wrote over a Monday, November 2, TikTok video.
He captioned the clip, “Raising kids by the beach >> #sunset #ocean.”
In the video, Zac showed off the sunset view at the beach while snuggling up to his and Jen’s youngest daughter, Penny, 16 months. (The couple also share daughter Nora, 5, and son Luca, 3.)
“Hey, I love you,” he said as he kissed Penny on the cheek while ocean waves crashed behind them.
The adorable beach video was posted one day before Jen, 27, reportedly filed for divorce from Zac on Tuesday, November 3, in Utah, where they got married.
According to TMZ, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star also submitted a proposed parenting plan amid her fourth pregnancy. (Us has reached out to reps for Jen and Zac for comment but did not immediately hear back.)

Fans met Jen and Zac on 2024’s season 1 of SLOMW. At the time, the couple, who tied the knot in 2019, were navigating a slew of marriage struggles.
“I definitely think it was the best thing to happen to our relationship. While watching the show, a lot of people are going to think that maybe this would break our relationship apart. But if anything, it did the opposite,” Jen exclusively told Us in September 2024, reflecting on their reality TV debut. “Being on camera and having those moments happen made us take a step back and actually look at a relationship and make us just see what we have to change.”
Despite being a united front off camera, during season 2 of the Hulu series, Jen revealed she and Zac briefly separated.
The duo found their way back together each through therapy, with Jen telling Us in May 2025, “We wouldn’t have been able to get through season 2 — honestly season 1 or season 2 — without therapy.”
She explained, “Filming definitely isn’t a comfortable thing for Zac. I think it’s definitely harder for him to be vulnerable. So that was him really trying to break through that during season 2. Even though there’s a lot of tough conversations we need to have on and off camera, it was all helpful in the end.”
Jen and Zac continued to work on their marriage as they moved to the Los Angeles area in fall 2025 while Jen competed on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.

The pair ultimately chose to stay in California once Jen was eliminated from the hit reality dance competition series.
Her journey on the West Coast, however, continued to be documented on season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which premieres later this month.
While filming the spinoff, Jen announced in June that she is pregnant with her and Zac’s fourth baby.
The following month, Jen and Zac attended a wedding together, but the estranged couple have rarely been seen together on social media since.

Zac, meanwhile, has documented his life as a stay-at-home dad with their three children throughout the summer and fall months.
“Weekend Ocean Adventures // 🦈⚓️🥥,” he captioned an October 19 Instagram upload, sharing photos with Penny in Malibu.
On Saturday, October 31, Zac dressed up in a matching Spider-Man costume with son Luca, but Jen was nowhere to be seen.
