According to fast food lore, Pasadena is the birthplace of the cheeseburger. This location honors the classic drive-thru model by featuring no indoor dining room, and instead has walk-up window and some outdoor tables. The location received 3.7 stars on Yelp.

While most In-N-Outs follow a standard template, this one is unique. Nestled right next to the UCLA campus, this branch was custom-designed by the late architect Stephen Kanner and features retro-futuristic design. Since it serves a demanding population of hungry college students, the kitchen is known to operate like a finely tuned machine. The location received 3.9 stars on Yelp.
