The Bachelorette’s Peter Kraus and his fiancée, Hana Ostapchuk, are expecting their first child.

“A new chapter, the best chapter 🕊️🤰 One week after our engagement, we got the surprise of our lives,” Ostapchuk, 34, announced via Instagram on Wednesday, September 24. “Gods plans are perfect, and our hearts are full of gratitude. Angel baby coming this March!! God is so so so good 💛 #14weeks.”

Alongside her caption, she shared a photo of herself showing off her growing bump while wearing a black swimsuit and a big smile. She also posted a video of her and Kraus, 40, hugging on a sandy beach and making goofy poses.

The comments section quickly flooded with well wishes for the parents-to-be.

“OMG!!!! Congratulations!! 🤩😍 what a blessing!!” gushed influencer Holland Smith Paterno, while Becca Tilley, a former contestant on The Bachelor, wrote, “So happy for you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️.”

Kraus and Ostapchuk revealed their engagement in a joint Instagram post on July 4. Two months later, they traveled to the Caribbean for a romantic getaway. While staying at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ostapchuk caught up with Us Weekly and excitedly spoke about their upcoming wedding.

“I’ll say that it’s in my mom’s backyard,” she told Us exclusively last week. “I think we both knew we wanted to do a little backyard wedding, something intimate. I think when you have the luxury of getting married in your 20s, you sort of romanticize this huge thing. Now that we’re both a little bit older, we don’t need any of that stuff. We’re just gonna do a small wedding around the holidays in my mom’s backyard.”

Kraus said he looked forward to getting married in Florida, where Ostapchuk’s mom lives.

Peter Kraus from Rachel Lindsay‘s season of The Bachelorette is engaged to girlfriend Hana Ostapchuk. “Throughout it all, it was always you. I just had to find you. I love you,” Kraus, 40, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 4, alongside photos from his proposal to Ostapchuk, 34. “Words cannot express the love and happiness […]

“Being at her mom’s house, which to me is like her favorite place on Earth, [is great],” said the fitness entrepreneur. “To me, it’s my little sanctuary. When I get away from Wisconsin in the middle of winter, it just made sense.”

Kraus was among the suitors vying for Rachel Lindsay’s final rose on The Bachelorette in 2017.

“It took a long time to realize that I was worth something more than what I was finding in the relationships I was in, and that finding more love for myself was more important than finding someone to love me,” he told Us. “Once I got to a point in my life where I actually didn’t need to date anymore to feel validation is when Hana came into my life. I was so confident and secure finally in who I was, that someone I was worthy of, walked into my life at that point, and that’s where Hana came in.”
