Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, called the cops on her over the weekend after she allegedly showed up at his home unannounced, Us Weekly can report.

Sources close to Phypers, 52, tell Us he phoned the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on Sunday, August 3.

The insider claimed that Richards, 54, showed up at the Calabasas home where he and his parents are living. Richards and Phypers lived in the home together until she moved out into a leased townhome in 2023 due to marital issues.

A source close to Phypers claimed Richards showed up to the Calabasas home to retrieve a dog. We’re told Phypers rushed out of the home because Richards has a temporary restraining order in place against him.

Another source added that Phypers’ parents were “frightened and conflicted.” They claimed, “She tried all the doors, they were locked. She went to the back door, slammed on the windows and screamed to open to door.

“They didn’t know whether to open the door or wait for police. His parents still haven’t slept, and neither are doing well,” the source added.

Richards’ divorce attorney Brett Berman tells Us, “Ms. Richards did not violate a restraining order. The drama comes as Richards was seen filming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills amid her messy divorce on August 2.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages,” Richards wrote in a declaration.
