Love on the Spectrum’s Abbey Romeo has returned to social media after her split from David Isaacman.

“I’ve always wanted to eat rabbit and now I finally am,” Abbey, 27, explained in a video shared via Instagram on Tuesday, April 14, where she dined at Le Coucou in New York City.

Upon trying the dish, Abbey before declared rabbit to be “awesome.” She then proceeded to try duck, which she called “so good.”

“When I tried the rabbit and the duck, I felt like a real feline,” she said.

“Big thank you to @lecoucou_nyc for hosting this amazing lunch for us while we were in New York City for autism awareness day,” the caption read. “Trying rabbit has been on Abbey’s bucket list and we are so happy to make that come true! A true lioness ✨.”

Abbey also shared a video via Instagram on Wednesday, April 15, of her watching the Broadway play & Juliet.

Days earlier, Abbey confirmed that she and David, 31, decided to part ways after nearly five years together.

“Abbey and David spent four and a half years together and truly value the time they shared and each other,” Abbey, David and their families said in a joint statement to People on Friday, April 10. “At this point, they want different things and have decided to go their separate ways, but they remain friends wishing each other the best.”

The pair, who met on a blind date on season 1 of Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum, became a fan-favorite. Abbey and David have since appeared on seasons 2 through 4.

In October 2024, the couple teased their hopes to get engaged in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.

“We [are] gonna get engaged someday. [Abbey] likes all the things I like and she tries new things too. She is loving and kind … and she is beautiful and makes me feel like a prince,” David said at the time, while Abbey added, “[We’ll] get engaged someday … [right now] we’re having a blast.”

One year later, Abbey shared in an interview with Us that she wants to “take our time getting married” because she doesn’t “want to be a divorced lady like my mom.”

Abbey later hinted at wanting to take her relationship with David to the next level during the season 4 premiere, which aired earlier this month. “What if he gives me a wedding ring?” she asked her mother.
