Marriott Bonvoy has launched a new, online design shop packed with hotel-inspired furniture, art and décor, letting travellers recreate the look of luxury stays, from W Hotels’ bold glamour to Westin’s sleep-focused calm – without ever checking in.
Standout pieces in the collections include a custom headboard and platform bed in various colourways, an upholstered bench, and a floral rug, alongside glass vases, dual-finish nightstands and bookends.
“Hospitality doesn’t end at check-out anymore. [The] design shop reflects how we’re expanding the role of our hotels and destinations from places you stay to sources of inspiration you choose to live with,” Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of Marriott International, said ahead of the launch.
W Hotels Living’s collection is designed in collaboration with New York-based Rockwell Group, and is inspired by the brand’s recently reopened flagship in Union Square in the Big Apple.
Rockwell also redesigned the hotel and used that knowledge to create the collection.
Expect pieces reflecting the W’s rich textures and tones formed into striking furniture pieces as well as sculptural lighting, art pieces, and stylish trays.
The Westin Hotels and Resorts collection reflects the brand’s wellness ethos and aims to help purchasers create a restorative environment at home.
Its collection focuses on neutral palettes, natural materials, and timeless silhouettes, all with a calming aura.
Prominent pieces include minimalist wood nightstands, earth-inspired rugs, throw pillows, and catchalls, trays and vases.
These two collections are only the start.
The hospitality giant will also be launching destination-themed collections, beginning in June with a selection inspired by the French Riviera. A further collection, influenced by the JW Marriott Hotel in Tokyo, will drop in the autumn.
The design shop is now available at MarriottBonvoyBoutiques.com, where prices start from $56 (€48) for a small decorative tray, up to $7,580 (€6,540) for a wool-mix rug.
