Fans who didn’t want to miss a moment of Taylor Swift on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon are in luck.

Days after the pop superstar’s Monday, October 6, appearance on the late night show, NBC aired the extended cut of her interview with host Jimmy Fallon as its own special episode on Friday, October 10.

While a shorter version of the episode showed part of Swift’s in-depth appearance, some segments were left on the cutting room floor due to time constraints but later uploaded online. This extended cut bundled together the previously cut footage then it was aired as a special encore episode on Friday that featured more of what the singer had to say.

One part that did not originally air in the shortened version of the Tonight Show was Swift, 35, clearing up why she has no plans to perform as a Super Bowl halftime act.

Jay-Z has always been very good to me,” Swift said. “Our teams are very close. They sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about…?’ And that’s not an official offer or a conference room conversation. We’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.”

She went on to explain that she was fully focused on her fiancé, Travis Kelce, when she attends NFL games and wants her attention to be on that.

“Can you imagine if, like, he’s out there every single week putting his life on the line doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be. I think we should do two verses of ‘Shake It Off’ into ‘Blank Space’ into ‘Cruel Summer.’”

Swift visited The Tonight Show to discuss her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, though her wide-ranging conversation with Fallon, 51, also touched on her engagement to Kelce.

“He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met — no offense to everyone else,” she gushed. “But the fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever … that’s the whole thing of it. You look at [the ring] and you’re like, ‘I get to hang out with him forever,’ and this represents that.”

Swift also confirmed that Kelce, 36, proposed after she recorded her “New Heights” debut.

“I think, for Travis, the podcast was just sort of a distraction, sort of a ruse, to keep me not looking out the windows of the house,” she explained, revealing that he had “blackout drapes on every single window of the whole house.”

At the time, Swift was thrown off by Kelce’s apparent nerves about their joint podcast appearance.

“I kinda realized that he’s walking around sorta nervous about the podcast, [saying], ‘My heart is racing. … I know how much this means to you. I just really want this to be what you’d hoped it would be.’ Because we’d been talking about doing the podcast and announcing the album,” she shared. “And he’s like, ‘My heart’s just racing.’ I’ve never seen this dude nervous. Ever. He’s professionally not a nervous person.”

After they finished recording, Kelce asked Swift, “Do you wanna go and just walk around the backyard and have a glass of wine?” to which she replied, “I’m always gonna wanna do that.”

When Swift saw Kelce’s “secret garden” setup outside, she realized “why all the windows were curtained and why he was nervous.”

She added, “It was the best possible-case scenario.”

Elsewhere in her Tonight Show appearance, Swift debunked online rumors about herself, including that she joked about her friend Selena Gomez beating her to the altar at the actress’ September wedding to Benny Blanco.

“I did make a speech, but I actually made a point not to mention anything about my engagement,” she insisted. “No one wants you to be like, ‘Hey, I know this is your wedding day but … ’ I was like, ‘Don’t mention it.’”

Swift also spoke to Fallon about her process when writing songs like “Wood” for her Life of a Showgirl album.

“I brought this into the studio and I was like, ‘I wanna do sort of like a throwback kind of timeless-sounding song,’” she recalled. “And I had this idea about, ‘I ain’t gotta knock on wood,’ and I would knock on wood and it would be all these superstitions. And it really started out in a very innocent place.”

She then joked of the spicy lyrics, “I don’t know what happened, man. I got in there, we started vibing and I don’t know, I don’t know how we got here. But I love the song so much.”
