Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson definitely had a lot of fun filming their long-awaited Naked Gun reboot.
Between constantly singing one another’s praises and even sharing a kiss on the cheek at Naked Gun’s red carpet premiere in July 2025, the pair’s first time working together was clearly a memorable experience for both.
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson told People in October 2024. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
Keep scrolling for a look back at what Neeson and Anderson have said about their working relationship:
First Impressions
The Naked Gun costars interviewed each other for People in July 2025, with Neeson being quizzed on his first impression of Anderson.
“I thought, ‘Oh my god, she is so easy on the eyes,’” Neeson remembered. “I was really taken with your ‘thereness.’ You were absolutely there. They was no [brushing me off], I knew we had kind of a chemistry from very early on.”
Anderson agreed, saying: “Yeah, we definitely had chemistry right away. I was just curious where it was going to take us in the film. It was really a nice start.”
‘Professionally Romantic’
Clearly aware of the viral memes from fans hoping Anderson and Neeson would get together as a couple offscreen, the former Baywatch star clarified to Entertainment Weekly in May 2025 that they saved any sparks for their scenes together.
“We had many dinners out with the cast,” she said. “I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed ‘professionally romantic’ during filming.”
‘Friend Forever’
The Naked Gun costars chatted about their movie in a joint interview with Entertainment Weekly in July 2025, where Anderson said she’d found a true friend in Neeson.
“I think I have a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he’s a good guy,” she said.

Anderson also praised Neeson’s legendary acting legacy, saying: “He’s a true artist. He comes from theater and Schindler’s List and has done over a hundred films. And I did things inside out and backwards, came from television, and then my personal life kind of overshadowed my professional life. It is funny: We all come to this place in different ways, but to be able to share this experience with him is very meaningful and such an honor.”
Confidence Booster
During a joint interview for People, Anderson expressed relief at Neeson putting her “at ease” instantly on set since she struggles to feel comfortable in some work settings.
“You really put me at ease,” Anderson assured her costar. “Then, we were off to the races!”
Learning From a ‘Master’
Anderson said her most memorable experience on the Naked Gun set was getting a chance to learn from such an accomplished costar. (Neeson has received three Golden Globe nominations and earned a Best Actor Oscar nod for Schindler’s List.)
“It was a joy to watch and learn from a master,” she told Neeson in their People joint interview. “It really was. I really learned a lot from being on that set and it was just a joy too.”
Neeson was just as effusive about working with Anderson, saying: “I’ve made over a hundred films and it’s rare for me to have that sort of chemistry … It’s just there. [Her] presence, [her] attitude to life, the job. It was just, ‘OK, trust this!’”
Homemade Treats
Neeson confirmed to People at the Naked Gun premiere that Anderson thoughtfully baked him sourdough bread and cookies during the making of the comedy.
“That sourdough bread was something else,” he said in July 2025. “And I know the effort it takes. I’m so not a cook, nor a baker. I’m not. But I did appreciate the gesture very, very much.”

Anderson confirmed that she’d indulge in some baking between shooting days to cheer up the atmosphere on the Naked Gun set in Atlanta.
“I had a kitchen, so why not use it?” she noted.
