This Mother’s Day weekend, QVC’s biggest stars can’t help but give thanks to the moms in their lives.

Before they were hosting shows or selling their successful brands on the home shopping channel, many familiar faces from the Q grew up with a supportive mom.

“To all the moms out there — Happy Mother’s Day,” fashion designer Lawrence Zarian exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “Thank you for your love, your strength, your grace and for loving BEAUTIFUL by Lawrence Zarian the way you do. After all, what I do is for you — a celebration of style & fashion for women of all shapes, ages and glorious size. I see you, and if someone hasn’t told you this today, you are beautiful. You are loved, truly.”

In celebration of Mother’s Day weekend, Us asked a few stars from QVC to share fond memories of their moms and the best advice they received. Keep reading to hear their words of wisdom:

“My mother has given me great advice my entire life and I am so grateful to her for talking the talk and walking the walk! When I first got my job at QVC, she told me that there would be good days and that there would be bad days; but regardless, I should never get stressed about the outcome because what God has planned for me can never be taken away. I remind myself of that regularly and walk forward with confidence and faith!”

“‘Hard times don’t last, but strong folks do.’  My mom always modeled strength as a reminder that struggles are only for a season, while the strength you build and the faith you lean on carry you through for a lifetime, helping you stand firm even when the road gets rough … and the road will get rough.”

“My mom passed away 10 years ago, and I miss her every day.  But I still hear her words of wisdom and that brings me comfort knowing that although I can’t be with her now, she lives in me in all that I do. She always told us to be kind, be honest and have fun!  And keep on keeping on!”

“I moved to America alone when I was 20, and throughout my journey as a fashion designer — and now as a mother — there have been so many moments where I found myself at a crossroads, faced with decisions that could shape the course of my life. In those moments, I would call my mom feeling overwhelmed, wishing I had a mentor who had walked the same path — whether it was navigating postpartum struggles or building a growing brand while raising young children. Her advice has always stayed with me. She said, ‘When I was working as a dentist and raising five children, there were so many times I felt unprepared, conflicted and unsure what to do — whether it was about school, health, work or relationships. What took me a long time to learn is that we’re actually born with the answers. It’s the noise around us that makes it hard to hear them. If you can find a quiet space, breathe and turn everything else off, the clarity will come.’ That perspective changed everything for me. I’ve learned that people won’t always understand the decisions you make — and they don’t have to. It’s your life. The most important thing is to stay rooted in your truth and make the choice that feels right for you and your family — unapologetically.”

“The best advice I’ve learned from my mom was never actually said out loud — it was something she showed me every day. She has this rare ability to light up a room, but more importantly, she treats every single person in it like they’re the most important one there. She gives her full self, takes the time to truly listen and celebrates or supports people in a way that makes them feel genuinely seen. That’s her superpower — and it’s one I spend every day trying to emulate.” Watch Shop With John and Mom on QVC Sunday, May 10, at 10 p.m. ET.

“When it comes to Mother’s Day, I’ve always believed every day is Mother’s Day.

As a proud Mama’s boy, my BEAUTIFUL mom, Doris, taught me how to live — really live. She would always say, ‘Enjoy all those good things,’ and she meant it. Enjoy life. Your family. The little moments, the precious ones that become everything.

She taught me to stay curious, to ask questions, to lean in and to have fun. And here’s the part — my mom went to design school in Berlin and then, after her boys had left the nest, made her way into retail, becoming one of the last true ‘shop girls’ at a high-end store here on the West Coast. She loved her customers and they loved her. They trusted her. She would help them feel beautiful. I mean, I guess that apple didn’t fall too far from the tree. HA!

As you know, my mom loved her garden. She had such a green thumb and her

greatest lesson? Relationships are like a garden. Each one needs something different. Some need a little extra water. Others need more sunshine. And if you tend to them with love, they grow into something beautiful, something unique beyond words.

She was also that mom — the one everyone reached out to, called, needed when they felt alone for advice, for a laugh, for that extra dose of love when you didn’t even know you needed it. Doris rocked. Period.

I carry this with me every day. Because of my work, I was always traveling — always on a plane, always on the go. And without fail, before every flight, she would say, ‘I love you, sweetheart. Let me know when you land. Angels on your Wings.’ Now it’s a tradition I carry forward with my friends, my family — anyone I love. When they travel, we say it to each other: ‘Angels on your Wings.’ And the tradition continues, every time I hear it, I smile. I think of my mom. So when someone says it to you, think of me. Think of sweet Doris.”

“My mom, Phyllis, had that rarest of gifts: She listened. Rather than talk about herself, she wanted to know how you were doing. And if you had dreams, she would smile that kind smile of hers and say, ‘Well isn’t that wonderful!’ ❤️ She was a working mom, loved her kids and was happily married to our dad, Lester, for 61 years.  And she made the best sauerkraut and dumplings on the planet.”

“The best advice my mother ever gave me was this: You can do anything you want in life, and you can be anyone you choose. She even told me I could be president if I wanted. Just work hard and stay focused on your goals — and she was right.”

“My mom taught me to say yes to the opportunities that feel bold and a little uncertain. To go after big things, even when they feel out of reach and trust that I’ll figure it out along the way. That’s how I approach my work and life … and it’s usually how the most memorable moments happen!”
