Raven-Symoné and wife Miranda Pearman-Maday have gotten into a rhythm in their separate bedrooms.
“Honestly, there were many reasons,” Pearman-Maday, 37, explained of their decision to sleep apart in a TikTok sneak peek of her and Symoné’s appearance on the “Jeff Lewis Has Issues” podcast. “Raven is a crazy sleeper and she would keep me up at night. She kicks and tosses and breathes. I have a big routine.”
Raven-Symoné, 39, interjected to add, “It’s the hair. It’s the humidifier. It’s the curtains. It’s the way she lays in the bed with red light systems on the whole entire body. I’m in the bed, I’m on TikTok, my legs are spread all the way open. Half-naked.”
When Pearman-Maday joked that Raven-Symoné had “maybe washed her face that day,” the former Disney Channel star quipped, “Probably not.”
Raven-Symoné and Pearman-Maday tied the knot in 2020 in an intimate ceremony put together by their friends.
“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” Raven-Symoné wrote via Instagram at the time.
The next year, Raven-Symoné opened up about whether her future with Pearman-Maday included expanding their family.
“I want four kids. I want a big family,” Raven-Symoné explained to Entertainment Tonight in May 2021. “I want to be able to make sure that the gatherings at the dinner table and the gatherings at holidays are full of excitement and fun. I really don’t like the attention on me, even though I’m in the industry, you might think it’s true. But if we just have one child, I feel like it’s not enough distraction. I want a whole bunch of people in the house.”
The couple noted in 2023 that they were focusing on prioritizing building their careers before taking that next step in their relationship.
“We gotta pay for that family,” Raven-Symoné quipped to Us Weekly in 2023. “So we’re working right now.”
Pearman-Maday noted that she and the That’s So Raven star have “ideas” about what their future family could look like.
“The cool thing about Raven and I, though, is we’ll throw one thing up on the board and then we’ll sit with it and then it morphs into a million different things,” she shared. “That is kind of what our family’s future looks like. There will be a family in some way, shape or form.”
