Just days after listing her Hawaiian ranch, Roseanne Barr has sold the sprawling home for a whopping 33 percent over the $1.95 million asking price, according to Relator.com.

“We sold the property for $650,000 over asking, attracting buyers from five states, the Neighbor Islands, and three European countries,” listing agent Paul Stukin told Robb Report in a story published Monday, October 6. “It’s a clear reflection of the strong demand for unique Hawaii properties.”

Barr, 72, first purchased the home, located on a macadamia nut farm, in 2007 for $1.78 million.

The property was the site of Barr’s 2011 reality series Roseanne’s Nuts, which followed her, her partner Johnny Argent and her son, Jake Pentland, as they attempted to farm the land. Though she kept the estate as her primary residence for years, she has since relocated to Texas where she lives with Pentland.

“Hawaii will always hold a special place in my heart, but I’m getting too old to do as much as I used to,” she told Robb Report in August. “The land deserves someone with the spirit and energy to care for it the way it should be.”

She added, “I had always traveled yearly with my family to Hawaii — it was an essential summer getaway.”

The home is populated by more than 4,000 macadamia nut trees, as well as avocado, finger lime, apple banana and tangerine groves. It also boasts panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Apart from the 2,716 square-foot main residence, there is also a pool with a waterslide, pool house, art studio, greenhouse and bamboo-enclosed outdoor shower along with a soaking tub.

Inside, the home features four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with a kitchen that includes wooden cabinets, stainless steel appliances and bar seating.

Luxurious as it is, Pentland told Us Weekly in April that Barr is enjoying the Lone Star State, where she can also spend quality time with her two grandkids.

“We have 30 acres and live up in what they call ‘Hill Country,’” Pentland said. “Roseanne also drives the tractor often, which allows her to mow the lawn. She drives around. She occasionally runs into trees, but just keeps the yard up.”

“The property is very lush,” Pentland added, “and has purple and yellow wildflowers growing all around.”

That doesn’t mean Barr will remain in Texas. Pentland explained that she often visits Palm Beach, Florida, and once considered a more permanent move.

“She stays there with friends often,” he said. “She loves Palm Beach. When she stays with her friends there, she’s right in the heart of the city. She’s walking a lot, slowing down a little, but not too much.”

A Palm Beach insider backed that up, adding that Barr enjoys the “sunny weather and laid back island vibe” of the South Florida town.

“She has a lot of close friends who live in Palm Beach as well and they’re always hanging out, shopping and going to dinners,” the source said. “She is very low-key in Palm Beach and likes to be out on a boat with friends or at the beach.”
