SoFi Stadium unveils insane new NFL menu with caviar dip and brisket

Football season is back, and ahead of SoFi Stadium’s first game of the season on Sunday September 13, we got an early taste of its new menu, which is surprisingly exotic and gourmet. 

Sofi is home to the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers. 

Featuring Mexican, Italian, Asian and American options, the menu was inspired by the cultural melting pot that is Los Angeles, according to SoFi Senior Executive Chef Omar Almaraz. 

“We want to show fans that come and follow their team from around the country really what LA has to offer,” he said. 

SoFi offers different menus depending on your ticket, with concessions for the general stadium crowd and more premium dining options for suite and club guests.

From the concessions, you’ve got to try the juicy moist smokey brisket, which is available as part of a barbecue platter or in SoFi’s viral brisket burrito. The brisket was just as good if not better than the steak I tried from the more exclusive club menu. 

You can taste the quality at the taco station – from the fresh tortilla to the tender meat and thick slightly spicy avocado sauce. Though the meat was slightly on the saltier side. 

The chicken and waffles were elevated with a maple vinaigrette and a sweet crisp coating on the waffles that added another layer of texture. 

I don’t love hotdogs, but I enjoyed SoFi’s spam dog topped with pineapple fried rice and teriyaki sauce. 

Other globally diverse concessions menu options include Vietnamese coffee flan, sweet and sour chicken, Indian butter chicken fries, Italian sandwiches and salad, elote corn, tamales, shrimp burritos, and refreshing agua fresca. 

If you get access to one of about a dozen clubs at SoFi Stadium, you can also try menu items such as the rich and decadent lobster milanese, or the soyrizo and potato tacos with vegan feta and cilantro, which I liked even more than the lobster for its complex flavor notes and textures. 

And if you’ve got a ticket to one of SoFi’s private suites, you’ll have access to standouts like the thick starchy yucca fries and crispy pork belly, the Korean bulgogi cheesesteak, caviar, brisket ragout, shrimp croquettes, gourmet salami sandwiches, and the herb ricotta tartine that’s just bread, salami and ricotta cheese, but somehow tastes like so much more. 

Plus desserts like the matcha white chocolate cake and the churro cheesecake, which were soft, moist and not too sweet. 

With so many elevated food options, football clearly isn’t the only attraction at SoFi Stadium this season.
