Taylor Swift is giving a behind-the-scenes look at her life during The Eras Tour in her new six-episode docuseries, The End of an Era — including her romance with Travis Kelce.
“Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @disneyplus beginning Dec 12 🫶,” Swift, 35, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, November 13, after premiering the doc’s trailer on Good Morning America.
The clip shows Swift preparing for her massive world tour, from putting together setlists to learning choreography. She even reveals that the idea for The Eras Tour came “two years before” the concerts began in 2023.
“I wanted to overserve the fans,” she explains, “in terms of the amount of songs they were gonna hear and how far I was gonna push myself.”
Later in the teaser, Swift’s mom Andrea sits in front of the camera and gushes over Kelce, 36, who proposed to the pop star in August after two years of dating. Throughout the tour, Kelce was one of Swift’s biggest cheerleaders.
“He brings a lot of happiness,” Andrea says with a smile.
Swift is then seen talking on the phone with the NFL tight end, joking that they “basically have the same job.” Kelce is heard replying, “You got teammates, I got teammates.” Swift teases back, “You’ve got Coach [Andy] Reid. I’ve got my mom.”

In October, Swift revealed that she would be releasing The End of An Era with two episodes dropping on Disney+ in December 12. (Two episodes will then air weekly for the following two weeks.)
Additionally, Swift also announced at the time that a new concert film called Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show will arrive on Disney+ in December with footage from her last Eras Tour performance in Vancouver.
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” the pop star wrote via social media following the announcement on Good Morning America. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
The Eras Tour — which covered all of Swift’s music throughout the years in a three-and-a-half hour concert — had 149 shows across five continents from March 2023 to December 2024. According to the New York Times, the show sold a total of $2,077,618,725 in tickets, which was “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”
“I knew this tour was harder than anything I’d ever done before by a long shot,” Swift shared in her Time “Person of the Year” interview in 2023. “I wanted to play a show that was longer than they ever thought it would be, because that makes me feel good leaving the stadium.”
Recently, Swift released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, in October.
“[I’m] trying to soak in this moment I feel of pride and joy for what I made,” Swift gushed during an October appearance on Audacy Check In. “I don’t necessarily know if I’ve ever been so happy about a record before. It’s kind of a foreign feeling for me to feel so joyful because usually there’s just a lot of stress in an album release week. This week, I just feel very uncomplicated feelings about this record. That’s new. So I’m like, ‘Let’s just ride out this feeling for a second.’”
Swift noted that she will not be touring this album because she is “so tired” from The Eras Tour.
“When I think about doing it again … because I would want to do it really well, again,” she explained to BBC Radio 1’s host Greg James in October.
Since her break from touring, Swift has been busy with her newfound hobbies — and enjoying time with her fiancé, Travis Kelce. (The couple got engaged in August.)
“He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met — no offense to everyone else,” she gushed during an October appearance on The Tonight Show. “But the fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever … that’s the whole thing of it. You look at [the ring] and you’re like, ‘I get to hang out with him forever,’ and this represents that.”
