Todd Chrisley thinks that his mother, “Nanny” Faye Chrisley, could be the perfect contender for the next season of The Golden Bachelorette.

“You know, I look pretty good to be 80, but you know what? I’m not advertising,” Faye, 80, quipped during the Wednesday, August 6, episode of Todd and wife Julie Chrisley’s eponymous “Chrisley Confessions” podcast.

Todd, 56, replied that his mother actually should be dating at her age.

“Mom, I’m going to put you on a dating site,” Todd said before Julie, 52, suggested that her mother-in-law might be a prime candidate for the Bachelor Nation senior spinoff.

Todd Chrisley’s mom, Nanny Faye, had a health scare after he and Julie Chrisley were released from prison. Faye, 81, joined her son and daughter-in-law on the Wednesday, August 6, episode of their “Chrisley Confessions 2.0” podcast. The trio discussed how Todd and Julie’s prison stay impacted their familial relationships — especially with Faye. “I […]

Todd added, “We’re gonna pimp you out. Listen, you could be the Golden Bachelorette, and then you’d have, like, 12 men [to choose from.]”

Faye, however, proclaimed that she wasn’t interested in either dating or being on a reality TV show.

“I didn’t even watch the first ones, and I’m certainly not going to be on one for somebody to watch my stupid s***,” she quipped, referring to Gerry Turner and Joan Vassos’ respective seasons. “No, I’m not.”

After Todd suggested that Faye would have her pick of “12 men” if she signed onto the series, she still wasn’t interested in the concept.

“I can’t even take care of one,” Faye said. “Hush, let’s talk about something else besides that crazy stuff. I’m going to [the University of] Alabama, hang out with [my grandson Grayson]. He said, ‘Nanny, how’s it feel to be in Bama?’ I said, ‘I don’t feel any difference. I still love Clemson. It’s still in my heart.’”

Faye shared sons Todd and Derrick with her late husband, Gene, who died in 2012 at the age of 77. She is also the proud grandmother to Todd’s children. He and Julie are parents of Chase, 29, Savannah, 27, Grayson, 19, and Chloe, 12, who is the biological daughter of Todd’s son Kyle, 33, from a previous relationship. Todd is also the father of estranged daughter Lindsie, 35, from his first marriage.

Todd and Julie recently reunited with Faye and their children after being released from prison earlier this summer. (The Chrisley Knows Best couple were granted presidential pardons after previously being convicted on fraud charges. They long maintained their innocence regarding the accusations.)

“I’ve been gone for 28 months. Did you have any ‘special friends?’” Todd asked Faye on the podcast, teasing whether his mom was dating anyone special. “I’m talking ‘knocking boots’ friends.”

He added, “I just want to know because you told the kids [and] they kept coming down here, telling me that you told them you was getting ready to have them a new grandpa.”

Faye, meanwhile, played coy in her response.

“All [of my friends] are special,” she said. “Don’t be talking trash and crazy. … I don’t want [a new husband]. I could have had one a long, long time ago, but I don’t want one. I don’t want [to be a] nurse [or] a pocketbook. … I’m gonna live my life. I had one husband and one dog, and I’m not having nobody else.”
